The Indian Super League 2023-24 season is set for an exciting finish, with the final scheduled to take place on May 4 after the playoffs kick off on April 19. According to the organisers of the football tournament, the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), the venue for the final will be announced shortly.
The top two teams at the end of the league stage will secure direct qualification to the semi-finals, while the teams finishing third to sixth will battle it out in a single-leg playoff to determine the other two semi-finalists.
This season of the ISL has been particularly competitive, with Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan vying for the League Winners Shield. The six playoff teams have already been confirmed, with Chennaiyin FC securing the final spot after East Bengal FC’s loss to Punjab FC.
In addition to Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan SG, Odisha FC, FC Goa, and Kerala Blasters FC have also qualified for the playoffs. The playoff schedule is as follows: Knockouts – April 19 & 20, Semi-finals (1st leg) – April 23 & 24, Semi-finals (2nd leg) – April 28 & 29, and Final – May 4.
